Abana Rock - 18th June 2006

Ahh... It was so good to be underwater again after a good two weeks vacation on land. Getting back from Vietnam and Cambodia made me craved for dipping myself into the water again. Disappointed that I did not get to dive in Vietnam... not with my mummy's presence. hehe..
We had to switch to Abana Rock instead of Brunei Patches due to the weather. It has been cloudy and rainy for the past few days. Nonetheless, it was nice to return to Abana Rock again. Before the dive, I had the funniest pre-dive briefing. Not that the dive is gonna be funny but it was becos the briefing was given by our very own, Bitch Manta who is doing his DM course. It was his first training and we took every opportunity to "train" him as a great DM. Haha...!

There was a bit of current but not as bad as the one we had in Scott Patch. Noraini and Tat claimed that they always had bad luck in diving but thank goodness this time round the current was good. But I guess the luck in diving is not yet on their side, Tat lost one side of his fin during the first dive. Hmm... how he lost it? Don't ask me... i dont even know how that is possible.. We spotted the usuals anemone fishes, angel fishes, lionfish etc... and the highlight of the dives is octopus. We spotted two of them! When i spotted the one, i bang my tank to get the attention of other divers. But, to my surprise, only our DM trainee Mr. Bitchy Bitch Manta came.... Again, Tat and Noraini didnt get to see much out from the dive, because they tot i was asking them to stay put. Do'H!!! We saw two "bubu" during the dives and it is sad to see some of the fishes were trapped inside and some are dead.

Anyway, after both of our dives, Tat has decided to make this trip an expensive dive trip for him by throwing his prescriptive mask down the water. Hehe.. Of cos, he didn't do that on purpose. He was planning to throw his mask into his basket but unfortunately he missed and the mask fell out from the boat. Blooppp Blooopp underwater... We pitied him but meanie meanie we also luffed. And to be more meanie but grateful, we gave a big round of applaud to our DM trainee for changing tanks and gear-up and de-gear our equipments... It was a very relaxing dive trip. Well done, Bitch and keep up the good work in changing tanks for us!
